About Karabach Restaurant

Introducing Karabach Restaurant feels a bit like letting you in on a local secret tucked into the heart of Berlin. Located at Maaßenstraße 9, 10777 Berlin, Germany, Karabach Restaurant brings the warmth and depth of Azerbaijani cuisine into a relaxed, welcoming space that’s easy to enjoy whether you’re dropping by for a casual bite or planning a longer, food-filled evening. The vibe is unmistakably Azerbaijani, with rich aromas, comforting flavors, and a menu that encourages sharing, tasting, and lingering at the table. I like how the place balances tradition with approachability, so even if you’re new to this cuisine, everything feels inviting rather than intimidating. There’s flexibility in how you enjoy it too, because Karabach Restaurant offers dine-in service for those who love the full experience, as well as takeaway, delivery, and kerbside pickup when convenience matters more. On warmer days, outdoor seating adds an extra layer of charm, especially if you’re meeting friends or just watching the city move by. The food selection is broad without being overwhelming, featuring halal food alongside healthy options, vegetarian dishes, and small plates that make it easy to sample a little of everything. Drinks are equally well considered, ranging from coffee for daytime visits to beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits when the evening stretches on. Late-night food is also part of the appeal, which makes this spot feel reliable no matter the hour, whether you’re finishing a long day or starting an unplanned night out. What stands out to me is how naturally the space fits different moods, from quiet solo meals to lively group gatherings. The menu invites repeat visits, since there’s always something new to try, and the relaxed service style makes it easy to settle in without feeling rushed. That sense of comfort pairs well with the carefully chosen drink list, encouraging conversation, slow dining, and an experience that feels personal rather than polished.

The food was amazing. The waiters are top tier. If you don’t know what to order they will help you. Especially the short man

The Karabakh Restaurant offers some of the most delicious Azerbaijani and Turkish cuisine options. Their menu has a fantastic range of dishes from succulent kababs to rich plov (rice) or dolma, but the real star of the show for me was the Gutab. They offer them with a meat filling or a greens filling, and they are absolutely phenomenal. The service was excellent; the staff was polite and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place for a casual dinner with friends, a family outing, or even a meal with kids. While the kids' menu isn't huge, there are plenty of other options they'll love. Make sure you save room for dessert! The combination of hot tea and a plate of their fresh baklawa is the perfect way to end a truly memorable meal. So this place is highly recommended for everyone, even if you have to travel a bit to get here.

Fantastic food and great service! I visited Berlin two months ago, and I was searching for an Azerbaijani restaurant in Berlin and I found this one. I am so happy that I found it. I really missed Azerbaijani food and especially since last time I was there was two years ago. I love the food, service and atmosphere. It felt like you were in Azerbaijan. I can definetly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious Azerbaijani food! I will definetly come back when I visit Berlin again. I came all the way from Copenhagen :-)

Excellent Dining Experience at Karabakh Restaurant My recent visit to Karabakh Restaurant in Berlin- Nollendorfplatz, was truly delightful. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I particularly appreciated the dining area's ambiance. We ate inside, where you could see the chef preparing the meals, which was a fantastic touch. Despite being able to watch the cooking, there was no lingering smell of food, which made for a very pleasant experience. The music was also a nice addition – present but subtle, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The dishes I tried were exceptionally tasty and well-prepared. The meat, in particular, was incredibly tender and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the hummus and the Traditional Karabakh Basmati Rice Yarpaq Xangali Qovurmali. Both were outstanding and showcased the authentic flavors of Azerbaijani cuisine. I highly recommend Karabakh Restaurant for anyone looking for a wonderful meal in Berlin. Thank you again for the amazing experience!

I had a wonderful dinner at Karabakh Restaurant in Berlin. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated — it felt both elegant and authentic. The food was absolutely delicious! The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, the rice dish with dried fruits was rich and flavorful, and the presentation was lovely. The tea at the end was the perfect finishing touch — served in a traditional teapot and glass. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best places in Berlin for Turkish and Azerbaijani cuisine. Highly recommended!
